On June 3rd, 2017, we assisted Morgan and Matthew Kelly in bringing their wedding dreams to life. The Lichterman Nature Center Pavilion was the site of their storybook wedding.

The Pavilion is open year round. It is a popular wedding destination for couples in the Memphis area. Located just a few minutes from the Shelby Farms park.  The park offers attractions for families and visitors of all ages.

Nestled amid a bright and inviting forest, the Pavilion is comfortable, spacious. It offers amazing views and photo opportunities. That’s why Mr. and Mrs. Kelly chose this site for their sophisticated woodland wedding.

The couple wanted an elegant and understated natural theme for their daytime summer wedding. They selected light, natural hues for the tablecloth and runners. They included blush, ivory, and sage green accents. This helped to unite the Pavilion with the expansive outdoor setting.

During the exchanging of the vows, all eyes were on the happy couple. The floral arrangements on the tables and the wedding arch enhanced the romantic moment.

At the reception, whimsical centerpieces at each table provided instant sophistication. The floral pieces complemented the event’s natural theme.

The gathered linens made the furnishings seem to float in the lovely space of the Pavilion. We accented the bride and groom’s table  with an attention grabbing pink cascade.

It was an honor to help Morgan and Matthew to begin their new life together, and we wish them many happy years to come.
